Report on Investiture Ceremony
With an eye to set foot on pinnacles of success and prime cap Little India Public School – Mongam, always push to implant a sense of loyalty and allegiance among the students with their heads held high.At the outset of the new academic session for the year 2019-’20 an investiture ceremony was taken place on 19th of July 2019. The baronial ceremony commenced with the emotional portrayal of school prayer followed by the welcome speech of Sreeja Pradeep, Vice Principal of LIPS.The Investiture Ceremony was a dignified occurrence where all the students were set to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility with utmost zeal and zest.
The newly elected student council members vowed to strive solemnly, to strengthen the nobility and glory of the institution while receiving their prestigious badges and sash from the Chief Guest Vinod Kumar (Sub Inspector, Kondotty). Amal T K of Xth bestowed as The Head Girl and Hashir of Xth as Sports Captain, Varsha of Xth as Arts Secretary, Surayya of Xth as Discipline Leader, Henna Machingal of Xth as Magazine Editor bestowed respectively. The Principal Raseena Latheef administered the oath to the students’council.
It was a proud moment for all the teachers and students who witnessed the students’ council being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders. The Chief Guest gave a speech regarding how to become a better citizen and he added the duties and responsibilities vested upon leaders . He encouraged the students to always walk on the correct path and be the change.
The Principal inspired the children to make a beeline for future in the face of all the obstacles and challenges that life throws in front of them. She said that being a leader is a vital role and that the new Student Council would have ample responsibilities to shoulder. Lips Faculty Head Chithra Sree recorded the vote of thanks. With the flags holding high and heads standing tall, the ceremony drew its close with the National Anthem.
